If you are playing the Easter scattergories game at a classroom or holiday party with a larger group of people, it might be fun to work in teams. Whichever player has the most unique answers at the end of the game, wins! Can you play scattergories in teams? If someone has the same answer as you, both of you must cross that time off of your lists. When time is up, everyone will go around the room and compare their answers with the other players. For example if the letter chosen is “P” and the category is “Something that is pink,” you may want to write down “Peony Flower” instead of “Peeps” since peeps is a more common answer. Tip: You want to try and come up with the most unique answers that you can think of. If you get stuck on one category, you can skip it and return back to it later if there is any time left.
Next, write down as many answers as you can before the timer goes off. This game set will include categories cards for 2 rounds of play. Using the categories cards provided, each person will fill in answers that start with the previously chosen letter. If you are playing with younger kids, you might want to set the time duration for a little while longer. Have one player close their eyes and choose a letter at random.
